Social Media In Digital Marketing

As a social media pro, you probably already use all the biggest social networks (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn). But there’s much more to social media than sharing ideas, thoughts, and information. You can create a page, and you can be an ad manager! By doing customer segmentation, you can increase your reach. You can market your services on a location level.

Social media is where people discuss common issues, world events, day-to-to life, share photos & video, communicate with each other. So approaching directly to them with your product may sound rude. So plan strategically, and then reach them. Let’s see some platforms of SM.

TwitterOn Twitter, every second, on avg, around 6k tweets are twitted! Twitter has 23.2 million monthly active users in India. If you consider user engagement, Twitter is at 2nd place after FB. Twitter shows your twit/msg directly to your follower timeline. This can help you in promoting your business.

Facebook: shockingly, 71% of internet users have a Facebook account. Facebook provides customization to your page. You can run ad campaigns here. You can use Facebook for acquiring fans for business page, branding and a lot more. As Facebook has the largest group of users, its paid ads get the most ROI. Active SM & organic user base have lower the cost of promoting.

LinkedIn: in comparison to the above two platforms, it has fewer users. Only 22% of internet user acquire LinkedIn. But you will get every kind of audience here. Here, professional & business persons present actively. The age group of this community varies from 30-64. You can promote your products here, too.

Understand your audience tech skills and choose the social media channel. According to your business, target audience and always grab the opportunity to sale.

People's daily lives are intertwined with social media; practically everyone uses it on a regular basis. Eighty-six percent of adults (86%) use social media at least once a day, with 72 percent using it numerous times a day.
