How to use SEO Tools to drive Traffic, Click & Sales

In today's video we are going to see everything about the SEO tools Ahrefs and Semrush. Both are premium tools and has many functionalities, more than the last tool 'Moz' we saw.

Ahrefs is a premium SEO tool which has monthly subscription of 199 dollars, but it gives us 7 day free trial at 7 dollars to use it as a demo & make decision.

In the left hand side menu we can see different types of options available. Now on the top search bar of site explorer, we will enter any website and it will give us a complete report of our entered website below.

Firstly it will show us Ahrefs rank which means that how popular our website is in comparison with the whole world. Next to it we can see the user ranking & domain ranking meter.

After that we can see another options like Backlinks, Referring Domains, Organic Traffic, Organic Keywords, Traffic value etc...

If you want to check that which are the new backlinks of our website, then we can simply just click on the 'New Backlinks' option available in the left hand side menu section. By same method we can check the lost & broken backlinks.

Now we will select 'New Organic Keywords' option from organic search Section in the left hand side menu. From here we can see that what keywords are ranking at which different positions and what is its volume or keyword difficulty.

And from the 'Movements' option we can see that our particular keyword has jumped from this ranked position to other.

We also have option of link domains, anchors and broken links which will help us to show us that where our site's links are inbounded.

We can also check backlinks of some top websites like udemy through this tool and can get idea that which are the types of backlinks that this websites are creating & what we should create for our own website to rank higher. It will give us an overview about the backlinks.

Now we will go to Content Explorer part of this tool and from here we can get an idea that which are the keywords or which are the pages that we should target for our content. From using this option we can get an idea about which topics we should focus on more in our content to rank better and also compare some other sites content and see that how they have managed ranking.

Now we will shift to our second SEO tool ie. Semrush. We can also do competitive keyword research and content analysis with this tool.

In Domain overview option, we will first enter our domain name and then search it, and select our country as India. It will then show us the organic traffic, backlinks, authority score, and display advertising.

We can also see different things like number of organic keywords ranking the graph for our website's volume and from which country the traffic is coming, that also. Additionally we will also see the keyword difficulty, CPC (cost per click) & mainly SERP features.

From the traffic analytics option we can get and complete overview of our websites visitors. The total visits, who are the unique visitors, average visit duration, bounce rate etc... Also using Audience Insights option we can see some similar websites which are in competition with us.

We can see that from which particular country how much traffic is coming with the help of 'Geo distribution' option. It is an unique feature in Semrush tool & is not found in the earlier tools which we have seen.

Now the main option 'Keyword Magic Tool', this will give us a complete keyword report of the keyword which we entered. We will see its volume, keyword difficulty, CPC and it's trend graph. This report can also be easily export and downloaded.

We have Link Analysis option in the Semrush tool which will provide us an idea that from where our website's or any website's backlink is generated. This can help us in upbringing ranking for our website.
