Create a Translation: Select the body to be translated, specify the translation direction, and input the distance value by clicking this icon. Create a Rotation: Select the body to be rotated, designate the rotation axis, then enter the angle value by clicking this icon.
Document CATPart.
Click the Translate button. The Tools Palette and the Translate Definition dialogue box appear. Selecting Using Selection Traps in the CATIA Infrastructure User's Guide provides more information about the Tools Palette.
Choose the Element that needs to be translated.
Choose the Vector Definition option.
