CATIA V5 Drafting Workbench: Broken View

  • You can add new breaks to a broken view as long as they are in the same direction and do not overlap.
  • By right-clicking the callout and selecting Callout, you can erase any existing breaks (Broken View).

  • From the Views toolbar, select the Broken View icon.
  • Select a first point that corresponds to the first profile's first extremity.
  • Select a second point that corresponds to the second extreme of the profile.

To update the view to the new reference plane, right-click on each projection view and pick Update selection from the contextual menu. Alternatively, right-click Drawing1 and choose Update selection from the contextual menu. The detail view, as well as the right, left, bottom, top, and auxiliary views, have been updated.
