Choose Analyze -> Constraints from the menu. The dialogue window for constraint analysis appears. The Constraints tab shows the state of the selected component's constraints: The name of the active component is displayed in Active Component.
It signifies that we're limiting the sketch's degree of flexibility. Consider the case where you want to limit a line. If you specify its length, the length of the line will be kept under control. i.e. the line will not move unless the dimensions are changed.
Select the Constraints of Given Components: Right-click the components, then choose xxx object -> Component Constraints from the contextual menu. You can cut and paste, copy and paste, and even erase constraints when editing them. Update an Assembly: blacked-out limitations indicate that they need to be updated.
By double-clicking on desired constraints and modifying associated data in the Constraint Definition dialogue box that appears, you can edit constraints. Use the XXX to select desired limitations.
