You don't require a file; simply type the thread's information into the fields using the "Standards" option, and the thread will appear, as long as the thread box in the "Properties/View/Dress-Up/Thread" menu of the drawing view you want them to appear in is checked.
If you want to make a hole in Part Design, click the Hole icon. If you want to make a hole in a Functional Molded Part, click the Hole icon.
Choose the face where you want to make the hole.
Define the hole shape and enter the parameters of your choice in the Hole Definition dialogue box that appears.
You may either double-click on the hole feature to set the size and then place it many times, or you can drag and drop a hole in the 3d area and duplicate it.
Making Dimensions for Threads
In the Dimensioning toolbar, select Thread Dimension ( Dimensions sub-toolbar).
In the front view, select the thread to be dimensioned.
Re-click Thread Dimension.
Select one of the two lines representing the thread to be dimensioned in section view B-B.
