CPS Stack Part Modeling: Base Flange

The CPS Stack Part Modeling is a model of the CPS stack that is used to create, maintain, and manage software. It has three main parts:

  • The first part is the CPS stack which consists of four main layers:
  • The second part is the application layer which consists of three sub-layers:
  • The third part is the UI layer which consists of three sub-layers:

The base flange is the one that connects the two sides of a beam. Its purpose is to provide a bearing surface for the load.

A base flange has a circular shape with an inside diameter that is larger than its outside diameter. The inside diameter is smaller than the outside diameter by an amount equal to or greater than one-half of its thickness.
