CATIA V5 Drafting Workbench: Clipping View

The Generative Drafting workbench allows you to quickly construct and change views on a predetermined sheet. These views can also have dressup and 2D items added, modified, and/or removed. All of this takes place on a sheet that may include a frame and a title block and will be printed later.

  • First, open the model for which drafting is required.
  • Go to the drafting table.
  • A new drawing wizard appears on the screen.
  • Window->vertically tile
  • The view will be as shown.
  • From the options, select front view.
  • Or you can download it from.
  • As demonstrated, click on the face.
