Transformation Tools in CATIA V5

There are many transformation tools in CATIA V5 that allow for the modification of geometry. Some of these tools include:

  • Move
  • Rotate
  • Scale
  • Mirror/Flip

The Rotate tool is used for rotating a part about an axis or an axis point. The Scale tool is used for scaling a part in the x-axis, y-axis or z-axis direction. The Move tool is used for moving a part along an axis or an axis point. The Mirroring Tool is used for mirroring a part about an axis or an axis point.
