By multiplying a scale ratio in one direction by a geometric coordinate value, an Affinity transformation changes the absolute size of the selected functional features. Unlike the Scale transformation, the referenced axis system can employ a distinct scale factor in each direction.
Document CATPart.
Select Scaling.
Select the Element that needs to be scaled.
Choose a reference point, plane, or planar surface for scaling.
Enter a value or use the drag manipulator to set the scale ratio.
To construct the scaled element, click OK.
To rotate and zoom in CATIA V5, you can also use the mouse buttons and the CTRL key.
Hold down the middle mouse button and either the right or left mouse button at the same time to rotate.
Alternatively, to zoom.
