In the Walls toolbar, select Flange ( Swept Walls sub-toolbar).
select the edge.
Choose a flange type:
Set the flange parameters as follows:
Optional: To change the direction of the flange, click the Reverse Direction button.
To make the flange, click OK.
Press the Insert Body button. If the icon is not visible in the application, use the View -> Toolbars -> Insert command to bring it up. The outcome is instantaneous. This new physique, dubbed "Body," is displayed in CATIA.
