Sheet Metal Exercise 1: Flange

  • In the Walls toolbar, select Flange ( Swept Walls sub-toolbar).
  • select the edge.
  • Choose a flange type:
  • Set the flange parameters as follows:
  • Optional: To change the direction of the flange, click the Reverse Direction button.
  • To make the flange, click OK.

Press the Insert Body button. If the icon is not visible in the application, use the View -> Toolbars -> Insert command to bring it up. The outcome is instantaneous. This new physique, dubbed "Body," is displayed in CATIA.
