To begin, connect all of the surfaces to which the solid must be built.
Go to the workbench for Partdesign.
From the Surface based features, select the surface and the closed surface.
Then press the "OK" button.
To see the solid part, hide the surface.
0.1 mm is the default setting. You can apply a constant thickness by enabling the Constant thickness option. Smoothing is applied automatically in this case.
Two Connex Surfaces or Curves Splitting Closed Surfaces
Join by clicking here. The dialogue box for Join Definition appears.
Choose Split. Inverse and 1
Clear Connexity should be checked.
To build the linked surface, click OK.
Select Split. The dialogue box for Split Definition appears.
Choose a surface.
To split the closed surface, click OK.
