Follow these steps to assign a material to a part:
In the specification tree, find the PartBody feature.
Select the icon for Apply Material. The Library window appears.
Choose a material family from the top-level tabs, pick a material from the presented photos, and then click OK.
Select the most appropriate material for your model by clicking the apply material button.
Then click the camera icon (RENDER) and follow the instructions. Don't forget to save your rendered image by pressing the floppy button.
In the specification tree, look for 'Part1'. Select Edit->Properties from the menu bar, or choose Properties from the contextual menu. To get technical information, go to the Mass tab. If you've applied a material to the part, you can change the density and volume of the Part Body.
Tools-> Options-> Display ->Visualization allows you to simply alter the backdrop colour within the internal settings.
