This job demonstrates how to build a wall using extrusion. You can extrude sketches made out of lines, circles, line projections, and circle projections. You can also extrude any type of profile that has been opened. The Sheet Metal parameters must have been set.
Extrude Feature Information You can only do a solid cut, surface, or surface trim in Assembly mode. To use the Extrude tool, go to Model > Extrude and generate an extrusion drawing.
A revolve can be created by rotating an open or closed profile. A specified sweep angle around an axis guides the rotation. This exercise demonstrates how to define a revolve. Open the CATPart document Revolve.
