You can choose a point to use as a reference for computing plane coordinates.
Choose a surface on which the point is projected normally to the plane as an option.
To display a point, click in the plane.
To make the point, click OK.
In the Part document, this axis must be generated. Local orientation: allows you to choose between three different local coordinate systems (Cartesian, Cylindrical, and Spherical), each of which interprets the components as relative.
To Make Points at Predetermined Coordinates
Create styles, layers, point groups, and description keys by changing the settings.
Select the Home tab. Make a panel for ground data. Menu of Points Miscellaneous Manual - Create Points
In the drawing, specify the point's location.
Document CATPart.
From the menu bar, choose Insert > Axis System or click Axis System.
To position the origin of the axis system you want to create, select the point as indicated.
If you don't like the direction of the x axis, you can change it by clicking the X Axis field and selecting a line.
