To create a closed boundary, choose curves or surface edges.
To establish continuity between any selected support surfaces and the fill surface, use the Continuity type.
A surface is a form with no thickness. Surfaces allow us to constrain and build complicated or even relatively basic structures that a solid model would struggle to constrain and produce.
First, connect all of the surfaces where the solid will be generated.
Open the Partdesign workspace.
From the Surface based features, pick the closed surface and select the surface.
Then press the "OK" button.
To see the solid part, hide the surface.
Trim the surface that needs to be closed.
Press the Close Surface button. The dialogue box for Close Surface Definition appears.
