Using the Part Design workbench in CATIA, you will learn how to construct 3D models from sketches. While working on three solid models, I used a pad, pocket, mirror, reference plane, fillet, chamfer, shaft, shell, rib, and so on.

The entire Catia V5 R20 course is broken down into six modules: Module 1: Complete Catia Sketching. Module 2: Complete Catia Part Modelling.

Catia is an excellent investment for large firms, but it has a steep learning curve. It's only worthwhile if you plan to use it for many years. Catia will also give you with tailored training for various sectors.

CATIA is a cross-discipline development platform that takes a multidisciplinary approach. It is simple to use due to its reduced user experience and workflow, as well as speedy design sharing.
