The view of a component is drawn close to where the view was taken in third-angle projection. The view is drawn on the other end of the component, at the opposite end from where the view was taken, in first-angle projection.
Start by opening the selected drawing.
From the specification tree, select the desired drawing sheet(s).
Select Properties by pressing and holding the right mouse button.
The 3rd Angle project depicts a 3D object in the third quadrant. The viewing planes are transparent and each view is pulled onto the plane closest to it. The observer and the object are regarded as being separated by the front plane of projection.
We assume that after projection, the horizontal plane spins in a clockwise orientation. This is why we utilise first and third angle projections. Because after rotating the horizontal plane clockwise, we will only get both perspectives in these two quadrants.
The position of the plan, front, and side views differs between first and third angle projections. What you see from the right would be drawn on the right in the third angle. The view from the right would be projected through and drawn on the left at the first angle.
