Choose one or more components for the first explosion step.
To move selected components, drag a translation or rotation handle.
Change the explode options:
Select Done.
As needed, add more explosive steps and click.
Parts catalogues, assembly and maintenance instructions, and other instructional materials all employ the exploded view drawing. An exploded view is typically projected from above, slightly diagonally from the left or right side of the drawing.
Select a plane on the product after selecting the scene in the specification tree or the geometry area.
To position the exploded view that results, click in the drawing.
Select your assembly in the tree by opening it. Then choose Tools -> Generate CATPart from Product from the menu. Then you can decide whether you want to combine all of the bodies into one or have many bodily parts.
You can construct assembly models in CATIA using one of two methods. The bottom-up design approach is the first, while the top-down design approach is the second. The next sections go over both of these design techniques. For building assembly models, bottom-up assembly is the preferred method.
