Pad and Pocket Command in CATIA V5

Pad command is a 3D sketching tool that allows you to create sketches with the help of a tablet. The sketches are created on the tablet directly and then transferred to CATIA V5. Pocket Command is a 3D sketching tool that allows you to create sketches directly in CATIA V5 without using any external devices such as tablets, pencils, or paper.

Pad and Pocket Command are two of the most popular features that are being used in CATIA V5. Many users have found them to be very helpful. Pad is a 3D sketching tool that can be used to create or modify sketches in 3D space.

The application allows you to make pads out of open profiles as long as the pads may be trimmed using current geometry. The pad below was made by stretching both extremities of an open profile onto the hexagon's inner vertical sides. "Up to next" is the setting for Limit 1.
