How to use COUNTIF function
Now we will learn that how we can use countif function in MS Excel. By name it means that it should count if any special condition which we mention is true.
Show to count any particular thing from any column that how much time it is used in our data, than we can use this function as, '=countif(A1,G1' where A1 is the column from where we want value, and B1 is that reference value to which condition should be given.
We can also use this function with another function according to our requirement, for example if we want to have the total salary for those who are from Bombay city mentioned in a table, than we can use ‘sum’ and ‘countif’ function together.
