SolidWorks is a CAD software that has different sketching tools to help you design anything. The Fillet tool fillets entities edges in parts. The Sketch Chamfer tool applies a chamfer to adjacent sketch entities in 2D and 3D sketches. This tool is available for both 2D and 3D sketches. The Chamfer tool on the Features toolbar chamfers entities such as edges in parts. Some of the most popular tools available in SolidWorks are the line, arc, rectangle, ellipse, spline and sketch. These tools can be used with different solids or surfaces to create complex shapes. SolidWorks also has free-form drawing tool called Freeform Surface Tool which helps you draw shapes with your mouse by defining an edge as a limit point.

This tutorial covers how to draw a circle in SolidWorks . First, the work plane is created. Next, the sketching dimensions are created so that they can be used as a base for creating your circle. The diameter is then drawn with the sketcher tool. The circular face is then drawn with the extruded face tool and then combined into one sketch with the sweep command created by pressing Alt + D. Lastly, you can create your circle by selecting the finished drawing mode from Edit->Shading->Finish Drawing Mode->Circular There are many ways to draw circles in SolidWorks, but this tutorial will focus on drawing circles using three tools: Sketching Dimensions, Extruded Face Tool and Sweep/Finished Drawing Mode
