Click Project Curve on the Curves toolbar, or Insert > Curve > Projected to project a curve. To project a sketched curve onto a model face, use this option. Select the curve in the graphics area or from the flyout FeatureManager design tree under Sketch to Project.
Select Insert > Surface > Extrude from the menu.
Choose a face:
Select other faces to specify the extrude as needed.
Decide on the final condition.
To designate the direction of extrusion for 3D faces, choose a plane, edge, 2D face, or sketch line.
Click Point in the Reference Geometry toolbar or Insert > Reference Geometry > Point in a model with a curve.
Select Along curve distance or multiple reference point in the PropertyManager.... 3 Click.
Draw a sketch on a new plane added above the curving surface.
On the Editing Tab, select Offset.
Choose a curved surface (hold down the Alt key to do this)
In the top left corner of the screen, select the 'With Draft' option.
Select your sketch from the sketch collector box.
Adjust the depth as needed.
Choose the looping option. Then choose a curve from all of the loops in the text you just made. Finish the sketch and enter the offset value. You're done once you've completed the feature.
