Dowloading & Installation of Solidworks

Is it possible to get a free copy of Solidworks? Solidworks provides a free trial to utilise before purchasing the software suite, and there are many options to pick from once you're ready to buy.

You can manually download and install files using SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager. In SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager, select the option to download individual files (for example, Conduct manual download on the Download Options page)

  • When you click the Download button on the page, a zip file will be downloaded from the SOLIDWORKS website.
  • Run the SolidWorksSeup.exe file from your local machine when the SolidWorksSeup.exe zip file has finished downloading.

Select the products in the SOLIDWORKS Product Activation box and click the 'Next' button. 4. After you've successfully deactivated the licence, you'll be able to install and activate it on the new system.

You can choose between a seven, fifteen, or thirty-day trial.
