Use the Insert Component PropertyManager to create a component.
Drag from the Task Pane's File Explorer tab.
Drag from a document window that is open.
Drag and drop from the Windows Explorer.
From Internet Explorer, drag a hyperlink.
Drag existing components around the assembly for more examples.
In the context of an assembly, you can build a new part. You can use the geometry of other assembly components to create the part in this way. In the context of another assembly, you can also construct a new subassembly.
Select many components from the list with Ctrl +.
Select Browse from the menu. Ctrl + select many components in the dialogue box, then click Open.
To access the Insert Components PropertyManager, press the following keys: Insert Components (Assembly toolbar) or Insert > Component > Existing Part/Assembly in an existing assembly.
