Start a new picture and include as many blocks as you wish. Use a name for the painting that is acceptable for a library drawing. DesignCenter may be used to insert the blocks into any drawing (ADCENTER).
Click Insert in the Block panel on the Home tab. Click the Browse button in the Insert dialogue box to navigate to your library folder and then the block you want inside that folder. Keep in mind that each block is its own drawing. Insert the block by double-clicking it.
The Library tab of the Block palette contains block libraries. This video demonstrates how to build up your block library by specifying a shared folder or file. Block Libraries, as well as other block feature advancements, are new features in AutoCAD 2021.
Do one of the following at the Command prompt: Block of type:
If necessary, expand the drop-down list to see additional available blocks. Hover your
mouse over the list items to see a thumbnail preview.
