Interfering 3D solids are highlighted. By putting _INTERFERE in the commandline, you can run the INTERFERE command in any localised version of AutoCAD. Interfere is a word that may be found on the internet.
Click the Interfere tool in the Solid Editing panel on the Home ribbon. You are prompted to choose the first group of objects by the programme. Any object selection method can be used. Select the wedge with a click, then hit ENTER.
To complete the selection, select the solid that will have the groove and hit Enter. To subtract solids, surfaces, and regions, go to the Select Solids, Surfaces, and Regions section. Objects to choose: Select the interference object you created in the prompt and hit Enter to complete the selection. You've just carved out the perfect tongue groove.
To define the hole, draw a closed polyline.
Select a layout grid and open the Clipping panel on the Layout Grid 2D tab. Hole should be added.
Press Enter after selecting the layout grid.
Press Enter after selecting the closed polyline for the hole.
