As illustrated in the image below, select the Construction Line icon: Or. On the command line, type XL and click Enter.
On the command line or at the command prompt, type A and press Enter. Or. Choose the Ang option from the command line.
XLine's angle must be specified (Construction line). For instance, 30.
Go to Geometry and select it.
Select an offset construction line from the list by clicking the arrow next to Offset.
In the Offset box, type a new offset value or accept an existing offset value.
To utilise a point on the sheet as a datum point, click it.
Construction lines aid in the layout of minor or detailed design elements on a sheet. You can draw them one at a time, in sets of parallel lines, or point by point freehand. Your construction lines are automatically placed on the CONSTRUCTION AND GROUP LINES layer as you draw them.
Construction lines (also known as xlines) are temporary linework entities that can be used to reference other objects or linework when generating and positioning them. Construction lines are circles or straight lines that stretch in both directions to infinity.
Set up a building zone.
Select Construction object > Line from the Edit tab.
Choose the construction line's starting position.
Choose the construction line's end point.
Press Esc to exit the command.
Double-click the construction line in the model to change its properties.
