This video will learn what is Inquiry command and How to use inquiry Command in AutoCAD.
Inquiry command is used to inquire about the dimensions which exist.
First of all, we will go to our command prompt and write 'ID.' it used to provide the co-ordinate value of any object.
So we will select the object, and as soon as we choose it, we will show the co-ordinate value offered in our command prompt window.
If we want to measure any object's distance, like a door or any figure we have drawn, we can write 'DI' and press enter in the command prompt. After that, we will select one starting point and another ending point to measure the distance between them. The distance between those two objects will be shown in the command prompt window.
