Inquiry command is used to inquire about the dimensions which exist.
First of all, we will go to our command prompt and write 'ID.' it used to provide the co-ordinate value of any object.
So we will select the object, and as soon as we choose it, we will show the co-ordinate value offered in our command prompt window.
If we want to measure any object's distance, like a door or any figure we have drawn, we can write 'DI' and press enter in the command prompt. After that, we will select one starting point and another ending point to measure the distance between them. The distance between those two objects will be shown in the command prompt window.
- We can also measure the radius of any circle.
- We can also measure the angle between any two lines by selecting the 'Angle' option from utilities.
- We can also find the area of any object by selecting the 'Area' option from utilities.
- We can also find the area of any object by selecting the 'Area' option from utilities. For that, we need to select more than two points, and it will show the size of that covered object in our command prompt window.
- We can also add any two objects by using the 'Add Area' option from the command prompt window. Similarly, we can also subtract any two things by using the 'Subtract Area' option from the command prompt.
- We can also find the volume of our 3D objects by going to utilities and selecting the 'Volume' option.
