There are two methods to Create/Enter text: Single-line text in AutoCAD and the Second is Multi-line text in AutoCAD.
Difference between single-line text and multiline text in AutoCAD:
AutoCAD is a software used for computer-aided design, drafting, and engineering. It allows users to create 2D and 3D objects on screen. There are two types of text in AutoCAD:
Single-line text: A single line of text that is drawn on screen.
Multi-line text: Text that is drawn on the screen with multiple lines of text.
The difference between single-line text and multi-line texts in AutoCAD is that the former is drawn as one long line whereas the latter appears as multiple lines of text.
Firstly we are going to see that how we can write Single line text in AutoCAD. The shortcut key for using this command is the 'D+T+Enter' key.
Now we will first select the starting point from where we want to write the text, and after that, enter the height of the text and enter the text's rotation angle as per our choice. After that, we can smoothly write the text which we want.
After that, we will notice that we have many different options in our command prompt. We will look at them one by one.
The first option is Left. We will first select one starting point and then provide it with the height and rotation angle of the text we will write. In this, the text which we will write will be left-aligned.
The second option is Centre. We will first select one starting point and then provide it with the height and rotation angle of the text we will write. The text we will write will be Center-aligned from the point which we marked as a starting point.
The third option is Right. We will first select one starting point and then provide it with the height and rotation angle of the text we will write. The text we will write will be utterly right-aligned from the moment we marked it as a starting point.
The next option is Middle. In this, it will write the text in the Middle regarding the starting point we selected.
The next option is to Align. We will ask to mark the starting and ending point, and the text we entered will be limited inside this point only.
Similarly, we have another Fit option. We will then ask to mark the starting and ending point and provide it with the height. In this case, the text's width will be variable; it will get adjusted automatically as we keep on adding text.

1. Using the "Text" tool with the "Add Text" option.
