A section in Autocad is a line drawing of a two dimensional object. It can be created by selecting the section tool and then clicking and dragging the mouse to draw the desired shape.

The "Section" command in Autocad is used to create a section at any location on the drawing. To do so, select the desired location for the section and then specify the cross-section profile. The cross-section profile can be created by either selecting an existing line or creating a new one with the “Line” command.

Select the Pen Tool and then click and drag your mouse on the canvas (or artboard) and release it when you want it to stop drawing. You can also change the color of the Pen Tool by clicking on its icon in the toolbar, or by pressing Ctrl+C (or Command+C) on a Mac, and then using the paint bucket tool with that color selected in your toolbar.
