How to use Copy Command in Autocad - AutoCAD Copy Command
In this Video tutorial we will learn about AutoCAD copy command and how to use copy command in Autocad in detail.
We can use AutoCAD copy command from modify panel, in that we need to select the object and then it will ask that specify the base point of that object, which means that from which part we want our object to be copied. After that it will be copied and we can be paste it wherever we want. Our selected object will be successfully copied there.
Now this is only single time copy, but if we want to copy that object for multiple times than we can select 'Multiple' option from Command prompt, and then we will be able to copy that object for multiple time and paste it wherever as much as we want.
Now we can also copy the object by selecting it and using 'array' option to enter the number of items we want, ie. how much copy objects we want. This will simply create the copies of the selected object at specific distance which we can provide.
We have also 'Displacement' option in which we need to provide distance from x co-ordinate and y co-ordinate to copy the selected object (x,y).
