The 3D Orbit Command in Autocad is used to rotate the view of an object around the 3D axis. It is used to create a more realistic view of an object on the screen.

3D Orbit Command is a very powerful tool in Autocad. It gives you the ability to view your design from any angle and at any distance. This command is one of the most underrated tools in Autocad due to its power.

There are two settings for the 3D Orbit Command:

  • Rotate: The Rotate option will rotate the object around its x, y and z axes. This command can be accessed by selecting one of the three options from the ribbon.
  • Pan: The Pan option will move the object in any direction that is not aligned with its x, y and z axes. This command can be accessed by selecting one of the four options from the ribbon.

The 3D Orbit Command is a powerful tool that allows you to change the view of your drawing by rotating it in 3D space. This command is available in all three drawing modes: Free-Form, Straight-Line and Rectangular.
