Now in this video, we will see that how to use Rotate command in AutoCAD.

Start rotate command, we will go to our modified panel and select rotate command option.

The shortcut key for rotate command is the 'R+O+Enter' key.

First of all, we will be asked to select the object we want to rotate, so we will choose the line and then select the base point for it, and after that, we will be able to rotate that line from its base point.

We can also rotate the object at any particular angle by providing angle degree. We will select the object and then select the base point for it, and after that, we will give a specific angle we want as per our requirement and then rotate accordingly.

We want to keep the main object as it is and add the rotated object to it. We can then use the 'copy' option, which will keep the main thing and add the rotated object.

  • The second way is to use the scale property in AutoCAD Text Editor. To do this, select the text that you want to scale and then go into Properties. Enter a desired scaling factor in the Scale field and hit enter.
