Overview
Revolve command in AutoCAD 3D is an essential tool. It is used to create objects that have a cylindrical shape. Revolve command can generate a 3D object with a cylindrical shape. Using Revolve in AutoCAD, you can create things that have a cylindrical shape. This includes cylinders, cones and spheres. The object's radius determines how much material will be removed from the edge of the initial circle or arc when it revolves around its axis. Revolve command is used to create a 3D object from a 2D profile. It can be used when you need to create complex shapes like a sphere. You can find this command in the Draw section of the Command Window. The most important thing about this command is that it will allow you to create more complex shapes with straight lines and arcs without using the more complicated 3D modelling commands.
This course is designed for AutoCAD beginners with little to no experience. It will help you learn the use of Revolve Command in AutoCAD and other AutoCAD features. You will learn how to create 3D objects, edit the properties of 3D objects, and use the powerful tools in Revolve Command. You will also learn about other AutoCAD features such as Layers, Blocks, and more. The course includes hours of video tutorials and in-depth explanations for all topics covered. Along with this, some exercises will help you practice what you have learned.
If you are interested in design and want to know how to use AutoCAD, then you must learn how to use Autocad commands and tools and the basics of drawing a plan. To create an AutoCAD drawing, you must clearly understand what you will draw. In most cases, an AutoCAD drawing is usually a plan or blueprint. These plans may be for houses or buildings, but they can also be used for other things like furniture or vehicles. Learning how to use AutoCAD is a great way to get ahead in the workplace. It can give you a competitive edge over others applying for the same position. Learning how to use Revolve Command in AutoCAD and other features will also make it easier for you to find a job in the future.

By sweeping the object through its axis at a given angle, the Revolve function in AutoCAD 3D creates a 3D solid or surface.
Follow the instructions below to make a surface revolve:
On the command line or command prompt, type REV or revolve and hit Enter.
On the command line, type M or mode and hit Enter.
On the command line, type Surface or S and click Enter.
When you need to draw circular objects, AutoCAD provides you with two instructions. One (revsurf) will produce a sophisticated model consisting of a three-dimensional surface with numerous aspects. The alternative option (revolve) will provide you with a solid item. The method you use will, once again, be determined by your needs.
To rotate an object in 3D, use the 3D Object Rotate tool on the left-hand toolbar. Drag the element to freely rotate it after selecting it. To limit the rotation to 45° increments, do the following: While dragging, hold down the Shift key. To rotate an object along a single axis, use the following commands: One of the coloured spinning circles can be dragged.
To understand what is Revolve in AutoCAD, you need to have an idea of AutoCAD. Revolve is a compelling and flexible command that can be used to create revolution surfaces. Revolve command creates a revolution surface by revolving an axis around a centre point. This axis can be any line, arc, circle or 3D object in the drawing. The revolution surface is created by revolving the axis around the centre point in the specified angle of rotation, which is measured in degrees.
