Divide Command in AutoCAD In this video, we will see how we can measure and divide the object in AutoCAD. We will start with the 'Divide' command. The shortcut key which we use for the divide command is the 'D+I+V+Enter' key. we will first ask us that select object we want to divide so that we will select the object. And after that, it will ask us that enter the number of segments we want, so we will enter the number of segments and then the line divided into that many segments. Measure Command in AutoCAD Another command which we are going to talk about is the Measure command in AutoCAD. The shortcut key which we use to measure the command is the 'M+E+Enter' key. We will first ask to select the object only and then specify the distance between the two segments we want. So this will have segments according to our specified length. We can also convert any other object into one particular block as per our requirement. For that, we will first press the 'B+Enter' key and then select the pick point of the thing. After that, using the select object tool, we will choose our object, and at last, choose the option of Convert to block and press 'OK'. We need to name this block with something. And after that, we can select this block by its name from a command prompt, and after that, we will enter the number of segments we want where this block will be kept. So in this way, we can use the divide and measure command in AutoCAD.
