Arc Command in AutoCAD - Arcs dash in AutoCAD
Now in this video we will see that how we will learn about Arc Command in AutoCAD and draw Arcs in AutoCAD.
First of all to draw arc we will go to our Draw panel and select Arc where we can see different options for arc. One by one we will look at all of the options.
The shortcut key for arc command is 'A+Enter' key.
So will start with our first option ie. '3-Point'. In this simply we need to click a 1st point, 2nd point, and a 3rd point, and then an arc will be drawn passing through all that points.
Now we will see another option for drawing arc ie. 'Start,Centre,End'. In this we just simply need to click on our starting point, and then on centre, and then at our ending point. After that an accurate anticlockwise arc will be drawn passing through starting and ending points.
Now we will see another option for drawing arc ie. 'Start,Centre,Angle'. In this we just need to click on our starting point and mid point and then enter the angle that how much arc we want. So therefore according to that our arc with provided angle will be drawn.
Now we will see another option for drawing arc ie. 'Start,Centre,Length'. In this we need to click on our starting point and midpoint and then enter the length that how much arc we want. The length will be counted from the starting point to the end point of the arc.
Now we will see another option for drawing arc ie. 'Start,End,Angle'. In this we need to click on our starting point to ending point and than an arc will appear and then enter proper angle according to our requirement for that arc to get fixed. This will draw an arc.
Now we will see another option for drawing arc ie. 'Start,End,Direction'. In this we need to click on our starting point and then on our ending point and after that specify the direction in which we want our arc to be.
Now we will see another option for drawing arc ie. 'Start,End,Radius'. In this we need to click on our starting point and then on our ending point and after that enter radius for the arc. The arc will be drawn according to that radius.
Now we will see another option for drawing arc ie. 'Centre,Start,End'. In this we need to click on our mid point first, and then on our starting point and ending point. This will draw an arc there.
After that another option for drawing arc is 'Centre,Start,Angle'. In this we need to click on our mid point first and then our starting point and then enter angle that how much arc we want.
After that another option for drawing arc is 'Centre,Start,Length'. In this we need to click on our mid point first and then our starting point and then enter length that how much arc we want.
The next option for drawing arc is 'Continue'. This will draw a continue tangent arc from the last arc drawn. We can draw arc at any angle of any length from last drawn arc by using this option.
