Types of Circle in AutoCAD - Draw Circle in AutoCAD

In the last video we have seen that how we can draw rectangle using rectangle command, in this video we will see that how we can use circles in AutoCAD.

To draw circle first of all we will need to go to Draw panel and select Circle. When we click on circle we can see different options like 'Centre, Radius', 'Centre, Diameter', '2-Point', '3-Point', 'Tan,Tan,Radius', 'Tan, Tan, Tan'.

Shortcut key for circle command is 'C+Enter' key.

We will one by one you get all the options of circle command. First one from all is 'Centre, Radius'. In this we first need to select one centre in our drawing area and then input the radius of that circle in command prompt. This will create a circle according to our requirement.

Now we will see second option ie. 'Centre, Diameter'. In this we first need to select one centre in our drawing area and then input the diameter of the circle in command prompt. This will create a circle according to our requirement provided.

Now we will see another option for circle ie. '2-Point'. It is used when we want to draw any circle passing from two points. We just need to select one starting point and one ending point and then the circle will be drawn automatically.

After that we have another option for circle ie. '3-Point'. It is used when we want to draw any circle passing from three points. We need to select starting point, the second point, and one ending point and then the circle will be drawn automatically.

After that we have another option for circle ie. 'Tan,Tan,Radius' option. It is used when we want to draw circle passing from any two tangents with our needed radius. We just simply need to select two objects first and then enter radius unit in our command prompt.

After that we have last option for circle ie. 'Tan,Tan,Tan' option. It is used when we want to draw a circle passing from three tangents. We just simply need to select three objects and then a circle will be drawn automatically according to that.
