How to create new text style and how to edit old text style

Text Style in AutoCAD

In this video, we will see how we can create a new text style and modify text style in AutoCAD.

We can enter the shortcut key of text style in the command prompt to use it. The shortcut key for using this option is the 'S+T+Enter' key.

When we use this, a dialogue box will open in front of us of Text Style. So from there, we can change the font name, font style, and size. And after that, we can click on 'New,' and create our new text style.

We will now select that style that we created and set it as the current text style by selecting the 'Set Current' option from that dialogue box, and at last, click Apply.

So now we will be able to write text in the textile, which we created manually. We can also write text in multiple lines.

Since we have not provided the text's height and rotation angle in that dialogue box, it is being asked in our command prompt, but we can ignore it and write text as per our choice.
