The solution is to utilise the reset() function from the React Hook Form library; if you call it without any parameters (reset()), the form will be reset to its default values; if you call it with an object (e.g. reset(firstName: 'Bob' )), the form will be set with the values from the object.

In order to validate a form, we must accomplish the following: Define the form's validation rules. Any errors should be saved in a state variable. If there are any errors, prevent the form from submitting.
