Redux is a useful solution for organising application state and provides a predictable state container for JavaScript apps. It's a well-known framework for managing state in React projects, but it also works with Angular, Vue. js, and plain old JavaScript.
The main difference between Flux and Redux is that Flux has several Stores per app, whereas Redux only has one. Instead of storing state information in numerous Stores around the app, Redux stores everything in one place.
If you have a solid understanding of why state management is necessary, React, and everything you need to know before it, learning Redux should take you about 1-2 weeks.
Yes, using it for global state management is strongly suggested if you want greater power while designing React Native applications. However, there is an alternative to Redux in the form of mobx, which is also highly powerful and a good competitor to Redux.
