Context, according to the React documentation, allows you to transfer data down the component tree from parent to child components without having to explicitly supply props at each level. Context's components are all context-aware.
Internally, React Redux makes the Redux store accessible to deeply nested related components via React's "context" functionality. This is generally handled by a single default context object instance provided by React as of React Redux version 6.
