How to Create Components in React

Because React is all about reusing code, it's best to separate your components into their own files. To do so, make a new file with the extension. js and paste the following code within it: It's worth noting that the filename must begin with an uppercase letter.

  • Javascript Functions: Functional components are nothing more than javascript functions. A javascript function can be used to construct a functional component in React.
  • Class Components: Class components are a step up from functional components in terms of complexity.
