Adjusting Parameters in Custom Hooks

  • Hooks should not be called inside loops, conditions, or nested functions.
  • Hooks should not be called from ordinary JavaScript functions.
  • You can now move on to the next page, which explains how to create your own Hooks.
  • This is why our components' hooks must be invoked at the top level.

With a custom hook that leverages the built-in use method, you may force re-renders of your components in React. Hook for the state: Only use the following hook in rare circumstances. When the state of your component changes, only re-render it.

Hooks can only be called from within a function component's body. You might be seeing it for one of three reasons: It's possible that your React and React DOM versions are incompatible. It's possible that you're breaking the Hooks Rules.
