AutoCAD has a variety of different selection tools that allow you to pick or create a range of objects and lines.

There are three different types of selection in AutoCAD:

  • Rectangular selection
  • Circular selection
  • Elliptical selection

There are many different types of drawings that can be done in Autocad. These include:

  • Wireframe
  • Shaded View
  • Hidden Lines Removed
  • Shaded with Edges
  • Perspective View

In a selection, the person selects one or more people from a group of people. In a drawing, the person draws lots to choose one or more people from a group of people.

A selection set is a collection of objects in AutoCAD. They are used to select, modify and manipulate the objects that belong to the set.
