The interference in AutoCAD can be classified into two types:
- Geometric Interference: This type of interference is caused by the geometrical constraints of the design. Some examples are parallel lines, tangent circles and overlapping surfaces.
- Geometric Tolerance: This type of interference is caused by the tolerance that has been set on dimensions in the drawing. The tolerances are based on a dimension’s precision, which is expressed as a number of digits to the right of the decimal point.
