Faces and edges of 3D solid objects can be edited. Faces can be extruded, moved, rotated, offset, tapered, copied, deleted, and given colours and materials. SOLIDEDIT isn't compatible with mesh objects.

Creates additional edges on flat faces by imprinting 2D geometry on a 3D solid or surface. In order for imprinting to be successful, the object to be imprinted must intersect one or more faces on the specified solid.

The Imprint command is a new feature in the latest version of Photoshop that allows you to take a snapshot of an image and then apply it to another photo. You can use this feature for many purposes, from creating texture masks to adding a pattern or texture on top of your photo. This tutorial will show you how to use the Imprint command in order to add a texture onto your photo.
