A rectangular array is a type of AutoCAD array that can be used to define a series of objects with the same dimensions in a single, contiguous block.

Rectangular arrays are a type of data structure that can be used to store a list of items.

The benefits of using this data structure include:

  • It's easy to access the items in the array by using only one index (instead of going through all indexes).
  • It's easy to find the index of an item in the array.

Rectangular arrays are defined as two-dimensional arrays that use rows and columns to organize data.

There are four types of rectangular arrays:

  • Rectangular array with one row and one column
  • Rectangular array with two rows and one column
  • Rectangular array with two rows and two columns
  • Rectangular array with three rows and one column

AutoCAD is a 3D modeling and drafting software that is used in many industries. One of the most common uses of AutoCAD is to create building plans. This includes creating floor plans, elevations, section views, and other types of drawings.

What's the difference between a rectangular and a polar array? Polar arrays duplicate objects in a circular pattern. Rows and columns are arranged in a rectangular array.
