Using 3D Rotate Command

3D rotation is a basic operation in AutoCAD. It allows you to rotate the 3D model in any direction you want.

AutoCAD provides three different ways to rotate the model:

  • Rotate around an axis
  • Rotate about a point
  • Rotate about an axis and a point

3D rotations can be helpful when we want to understand how objects are positioned relative to each other in a scene. This is particularly useful when there are multiple objects on the same plane, such as a row of buildings.

The 3D rotate command is used to change the orientation of an object. The rotation angle is specified in degrees and can be either positive or negative, depending on which direction you want to rotate the object.

There are three options for 3D rotation:

  • Rotate around the Y Axis
  • Rotate around the X Axis
  • Rotate around the Z Axis

The 3D Rotate Command is used to rotate a 3D object.

The 3D Rotate Command is used to rotate a 3D object. It can be applied to either an entire group of objects or a single selected object.

This command has the following settings:

  • Rotate angle in degrees
  • Pivot point
  • Axis of rotation
