Using Revolve Command

Revolve Command is a command in AutoCAD that generates a revolved surface. It automatically generates the parameters for the Revolved Surface by using the length of the radius and the angle at which it is revolved.

This command can be found in the ribbon under the Home tab, Design panel, or by pressing the R key on your keyboard. When using this command, you must first select an axis of rotation and then specify the desired angle of rotation about this axis. The angle must be specified in degrees and should be positive for counter-clockwise revolutions and negative for clockwise revolutions.

Revolve Commands are a set of tools that you can use to create your own custom commands.

There are two types of Revolve Commands:

  • Revolve Commands that come pre-installed with Revolve and
  • Custom commands created by the user.
